Rapidgator Plan Comparison: Which Premium Length Is Cheapest?
Updated ·RapidQuick editorial team (TUOPIC Co., Ltd.)
The short answer
At RapidQuick's prices, the cheapest plans per day and per TB of bandwidth are 180 days and 365 days (12TB). 180 days works out to about ¥59 (about $0.37) a day and about ¥1,775 (about $11) per TB.
30 and 60 days cost over ¥3,000 (about $19) per TB, which is expensive. If you'll use it for several months or more, a plan of 90 days or longer costs less.
Rapidgator Premium ends when you run out of bandwidth (the total you can download), not just when the days run out. Choose by how much you use per day: about 33GB a day for most plans, about 44GB for 90 days and about 66GB for 365 days (24TB).
Short answer: if unsure, pick 180 days
Longer Rapidgator Premium plans are cheaper per day, but the price doesn't drop evenly. Here are RapidQuick's prices (tax included).
| Plan | Price | Bandwidth | Per day | Per TB |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days | ¥3,200 (about $20) | 1TB | about ¥107 (about $0.68) | ¥3,200 (about $20) |
| 60 days | ¥6,530 (about $41) | 2TB | about ¥109 (about $0.69) | about ¥3,265 (about $21) |
| 90 days | ¥9,150 (about $58) | 4TB | about ¥102 (about $0.65) | about ¥2,288 (about $14) |
| 180 days | ¥10,650 (about $67) | 6TB | about ¥59 (about $0.37) | about ¥1,775 (about $11) |
| 365 days (12TB) | ¥21,350 (about $135) | 12TB | about ¥58 (about $0.37) | about ¥1,779 (about $11) |
| 365 days (24TB) | ¥44,750 (about $283) | 24TB | about ¥123 (about $0.78) | about ¥1,865 (about $12) |

- Best value: 180 days and 365 days (12TB). About ¥58–59 (about $0.37) a day and about ¥1,780 (about $11) per TB.
- Expensive: 30 and 60 days. Over ¥3,000 (about $19) per TB. 60 days costs almost the same as buying 30 days twice.
- 90 days: More bandwidth at 4TB, and about 30% cheaper per TB than 30 or 60 days.
Choose by bandwidth: how much do you use per day?
Rapidgator Premium ends as soon as you use up the plan's bandwidth, even if days are left. If you choose by days alone, you may run out of bandwidth partway through.
Divide each plan's bandwidth by its days and you get a rough daily amount:
| Plan | Bandwidth | Rough amount per day |
|---|---|---|
| 30, 60, 180 days and 365 days (12TB) | In proportion to days | about 33GB |
| 90 days | 4TB | about 44GB |
| 365 days (24TB) | 24TB | about 66GB |
If you often use more than 33GB a day, choose 90 days or 365 days (24TB). That makes it less likely your bandwidth runs out before the expiry date. The bandwidth isn't a daily cap. You can use a lot on one day, and it's fine as long as the total stays within the limit for the whole period.
Which plan for which use
- Only need one month: 30 days. It costs more, but you don't pay for months you won't use.
- Using it for 2–3 months: 90 days rather than 60. It costs about ¥2,600 (about $16) more, but you get twice the bandwidth and pay about 30% less per TB.
- Six months or longer: 180 days. About ¥59 (about $0.37) a day, the cheapest way to use it.
- All year: 365 days (12TB). About the same price as buying 180 days twice, without having to buy again.
- Downloading lots of large files: 365 days (24TB). You can use about 66GB a day.
How to buy Rapidgator for less
- Choose a plan of 180 days or longer: As the table shows, this gives the lowest price per day and per TB.
- Pay in yen: The official site charges your card in US dollars, and some card issuers add exchange-rate costs or foreign transaction fees. With a coupon from a Japanese reseller, the price you see is the price you pay.
- Use points: At RapidQuick you get 100 points for signing up, plus 1% of what you pay as points. 1 point = ¥1, and you can use them on your next order.
If you buy on the official site, note that auto-renewal is on by default. For details, see Rapidgator payment methods and what to do when your card doesn't work.
How this matches the official plans
The plans on the official site (as shown in October 2026) are 30 days 1TB ($14.99), 60 days 2TB ($29.99), 90 days 4TB ($39.99), 180 days 6TB ($49.99) and 365 days 12TB ($99.99).
